Thirlmere reflections, Cumbria

Xirin's free picture guide to Thirlmere and dedicated Lakes search engine for walks, accommodation and everything you need for an interesting break.We had walked over from Watendlath and from the western side we looked across Thirlmere towards Helvellyn.  It was an October morning and the air was strangely still.  The lake surface was absolutely smooth and the autumnal trees reflected in reflected in it like a giant mirror.
